Yashodha

Yashodha, just 7 years old, came to Hope for Destitute from a difficult family background. With the support and guidance of our caring staff, she began to excel in her studies, consistently earning top marks in her class. Today, Yashodha is a confident and ambitious girl who dreams of becoming a teacher to help other children like herself.

About us

Sujatha

Sujatha, a 10-year-old girl, was found begging on the streets due to her family's extreme poverty. Despite having parents, they were unable to provide for her basic needs. When Hope for Destitute discovered her, they brought her into their nurturing environment. With access to education, proper nutrition, and emotional support, Sujatha’s life transformed. She is now a diligent student with dreams of becoming a doctor, filled with hope and confidence for a brighter future.

Deepa

Deepa, a 12-year-old girl, was found begging on the streets, struggling to survive each day despite having parents. Due to their dire financial condition, she was forced to beg. When Hope for Destitute took her in, everything changed. Deepa received the care, education, and support she desperately needed. Today, she is a vibrant student with big dreams of becoming a social worker to help other children in need, thanks to the love and opportunities provided by Hope for Destitute.

Laxmi

Laxmi, only 7 years old and from a lower caste, joined Hope for Destitute with low self-esteem. Through our leadership development programs, she gained confidence and became the leader of her class group. Laxmi now helps younger girls build their self-esteem and leadership skills.

Swapna

Swapna

Swapna, a 15-year-old girl, was deeply emotionally depressed due to prolonged harassment. Isolated and fearful, she had lost hope. When she was brought to Hope for Destitute, she found a safe haven where she could heal. Through counseling, support, and a loving community, Swapna regained her strength and confidence. Now, she is an empowered young woman, excelling in her studies and passionate about advocating for others who have faced similar challenges.

Sridevi

Sridevi, aged 13, came from a home filled with violence and neglect. She was withdrawn and afraid to trust anyone. With the compassionate support and counseling at Hope for Destitute, Sridevi has found her voice and confidence, participating actively in school and making friends.

Meenakshi

Meenakshi, a 10-year-old girl, came from a very poor family living in a small hut. Her parents struggled to provide even the basic necessities. When Meenakshi joined Hope for Destitute, her life took a turn for the better. She now receives proper nutrition, education, and a safe place to live. Meenakshi is thriving in school and dreams of becoming a teacher, determined to lift herself and her family out of poverty.

Philipi

Philipi, just 13 years old, was forced into child labor to support her poverty-stricken family. Rescued and brought to Hope for Destitute, Philipi now enjoys her childhood and is an enthusiastic student with aspirations of becoming a doctor.

Jyothi

Jyothi

Jyothi, an 14-year-old from a lower caste, faced severe discrimination in her village. At Hope for Destitute, she found an inclusive and supportive environment. Jyothi is now thriving academically and dreams of becoming an advocate for social justice.
